If you've been looking for Terese's next performance date...you can relax and try again in 2019.  Terese Genecco & Her Little Big Band have been on hiatus from their monthly shows at The Iridium Jazz Club in New York City while Terese works on her new solo, one-woman-show, "Shatnered!"  (working title)

In the meantime, please go out and support live music, wherever you are!

And if you want to keep Terese in your musical mix, you can always add some tunes from her CD's to your party…

Terese Genecco & Her Little Big Band will play two sets at The Iridium Jazz Club in the heart of Manhattan's theater district (Broadway @ 51st Street) in celebration of International Jazz Day.  Their performances are at 8 & 10 PM Eastern Time and will be broadcast over the web via www.IridiumLive.tv.  Tune in worldwide to catch "the longest-running nightclub act on Broadway - now in it's 5th year of monthly performances!

Hi Everyone!

Well, we're almost at my 4-year anniversary of monthly performances at The Iridium Jazz Club in New York City!  I can't believe we've kept it going all this time but of course, I'm thrilled by our "staying power" up till now.

I usually ask one or two people to join me on stage each month to sing with my amazing "Little Big Band" as my "special guest stars" but for this one night only, I've decided to throw a true party and let a whole bunch of my super talented friends in the music biz jump…

Terese Genecco is once again nominated for two MAC Awards as announced this weekend by the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs in New York City.  She is nominated in the MAJOR ARTIST category along side Eric Michael Gillett, Lennie Watts, Raissa Katona Bennett, and Baby Jane Dexter.  Genecco is also nominated in the CD/Recording category (The LaMott/Friedman Award.)  Also nominated are Colleen McHugh, T. Oliver Reid, Jane Scheckter, and Stacie Sullivan.

The 27th Annual MAC Awards show and ceremony…

Terese Genecco & Her Little Big Band are back at The Iridium Jazz Club this month (after a knockout show last month at the new Cutting Room with special guest star Lea DeLaria) and is pleased to announce that she will be joined on stage in both sets (8 & 10 pm) by three of the leading ladies of New York City cabaret!

The first annual BroadwayWorld.com Cabaret Awards have been announced and Terese Genecco has been nominated in three separate categories: 2012 Show of the Year, 2012 Outstanding Female Vocalist, and 2012 Outstanding CD Release.  Voting is open to the general public through December 31st, 2012.  The winners will be announced in early January and will be celebrated in a performance on February 21st, 2013 at The Metropolitan Room in NYC.

Terese Genecco & Her Little Big Band were honored with two awards at the 26th Annual MAC Awards Show (Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs) held at B.B. King's Blues Club on March 29th, 2012.  Terese won in the category of MAJOR ARTIST - FEMALE or DUO and also, at the end of the night, received the award for SHOW OF THE YEAR!  Terese won two previous MAC Awards in 2010 for Best Female Vocalist and in 2008 for Best CD/Recording.
